National Park Khao Sok and CheowLanLake

KhaoSokNational Park in Southern Thailand is an amazing place. It is covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, huge limestone mountains shooting straight up in the air, deep valleys, breathtaking lakes, exciting caves, wild animals, and much more.

 

CheowLanLake is located inside KhaoSokNational Park. Approximately 2 hour's drive from both Phuket and Khao Lak, this man-made lake is surrounded by mountains of over 1000 meters high and dense rainforest with amazing wildlife, birds, flora, waterfalls, wild elephants, otters, monkeys, water buffalos, bears, leopards, and nothing less than the world’s largest flower (Rafflesia; it grows to over 80 cm in diameter). These are only a few of the unique things that can be experienced in this small piece of Paradise.
